Connect your business email.

1. Check your provider’s rules

Confirm that your account permits the messages you intend to send. Some providers prohibit unsolicited outreach or scraped recipient lists. Connecting SMTP does not override those rules.

2. Get your provider’s connection details

Use your provider’s current official instructions for SMTP hostname, port, encryption, username, sending address, and SMTP token or app password. Do not guess. Some business mailboxes require administrator approval or OAuth; OAuth-only connections are not supported by this release.

3. Enter details in Email connection

Use port 587 with STARTTLS or 465 with TLS only when your provider documents that combination. Port 2525 is supported with encrypted submission if your provider offers it. Unencrypted submission is not supported. A sender must be authorized on your account.

4. Send yourself a test

The test goes only to your verified Findor account email, through your configured customer SMTP connection. Check your inbox and spam folder. Then select I received the current test. A successful test does not establish inbox placement for future recipients.

5. Review a message

Supply truthful sender information, an appropriate subject, a valid business postal address, and a reviewed permitted-use basis. Findor adds commercial-message disclosure and an unsubscribe link. Those controls do not automatically make every message lawful.

Troubleshooting

Authentication error: check username/token, provider settings, and administrator permission. Timeout: check hostname/port and outbound connectivity. TLS error: verify provider details; never disable certificate checking. Rejected sender: use a provider-authorized address. Private/local SMTP hosts are intentionally blocked.

Replacing credentials

Saved passwords are not displayed. Replace or disconnect the connection at any time. Replacing settings resets confirmation. Disconnecting cancels pending sends; an already submitted message cannot be recalled.
